Background: I grew up in Cape Town, South Africa and that's where my love affair with science and technology began. I remember stealing my brothers Java programming textbook during his first year at UCT when I was in grade 10. That's when I made my first mini application. I studied Computer Science and Games at UCT a couple of years later and went on to receive my bachelors degree in 2013. I've got over 5 years of career experience in software engineering collectively in the payments and business automation fields.
Motivation: The powerful women in my life: my mother and sisters. The reason that other driven women inspire me so much is because we are still underestimated. At a certain point in life, we need to realize that we're more powerful than we think and we can do much more than what people expect.
